2011
- our name was changed to Tore Smith Food AB and move to fresh new offices in Höllviken, Sweden.


2010
- since October 2010 the company is owned by Ulf Ekdahl and Mats Liljegren, both with long and solid experience in food trade.
This "fourth generation" now runs the company.


2005
- the company celebrated its 90th anniversary.


1980
- began the third generation Smith, Tore, in the firm and then took after his father's retirement over the business.


1945
- at the end of the war imports was running again and it brought christmasproducts - nuts, figs, dates, etc. to the portfolio.
A year later the company reorganizes to Ltd.


1944
- Tore's son Thorstein, who started working in the company four years earlier, becomes a partner and the name was changed to Tore Smith & Son.


1915
- Founded by Tore Smith in Malmo, Sweden.
Major imports in this period was the dried fruit from California, from Chicago meat, coal, coffee, canned goods and groceries.
